Petals even have a start of a gold edge. Blue Beetle is Jamie’s best introduction for 2010. Retains it’s blue eye in the afternoon, #1 parent for blue daylilies. Substance is very good and flowers hold up to the evening hours. First bloom scapes are partially double, rebloom scapes can be fully double. Because it does not double all the time, it was not registered as a double. Blue Beetle is a breakthrough in blue pattern breeding at the Tet level. 3-4 way branching 18-22 buds.
